Building a 5-Star Reputation
With monitoring reviews in effect, your business responds to the reviews. As a result, alerts and notifications become necessary as clients, customers, or patients leave reviews. In addition to monitoring reviews, Reputation Management claims listings in many directories as well. Also, management fixes citations containing your name, address, and phone number, so they are correct. Then, customers and prospects find your location more easily. However, until the 5-star reputation happens with reputation building, your business delays reputation marketing.
On the one hand, most marketers believe that Reputation Management and monitoring of reviews finishes their work with reputation. On the other hand, they fail to build the authority and credibility that supports their marketing efforts. Unfortunately, because those marketers fail to build a substantial 5 Star Reputation, their clients lose many conversions and customers from this point forward. Additionally, too many marketers fail to understand that Reputation Management is a Re-Active and a Defensive Strategy.
Reputation Management is Ongoing, But...
Most notably, monitoring of reviews should continue because the threat of detrimental reviews still occurs at any time. As a result, if you fail to continue monitoring, poor reviews crush your brand while you are not paying attention. We, however, combine a Pro-Active Strategy and Reputation Building with management! This is where we separate ourselves from the rest of the marketers. Therefore, the Preparation Stage of the reputation process gains momentum. Next, we start building your 5-Star Reputation with a variety of Pro-Active techniques and strategies.
Importance of a 5-Star Reputation
A 5-Star Reputation with lots of positive reviews is critical for decision-making. Also, authority and credibility are essential to build profitable relationships with buyers and customers. Because prospects research businesses prior to the purchase, buyers want to know that businesses are trustworthy, credible, knowledgeable, and professional. In fact, so do most people, as evidenced by these study results of the effects of positive reviews: Spiegel Research Center at Northwestern University finds that conversions for lower and moderately priced products and services increased by 270% with positve reviews; also, the same study shows that, for higher-priced products and services, conversions almost quadrupled with an increase of 380%.
Positive reviews, by the way, increase the likelihood that consumers will make a purchase. Also, those reviews increase the revenues that a business receives. The Harvard Business Review found that for every 1 star increase in a Yelp rating a business receives a 5%-9% increase in revenues; moreover, Womply determined that when a business has more than 9 current reviews, it receives, on average, 52% more revenue than the average business in that industry. If a business has more than 25 current reviews, their revenues increase
